Where were you all at the Pugfest in June (waiting for your cars I suppose ?!) We rolled up on what seemed to be the hottest days of the year with only 2 other CC's on display - both 'ecossed' (which kinda put mine to shame with it's meagre modification...a mesh grille !) and no 'normal' ones.

A meet would be great. With Birmingham being so central then it would be an ideal place to meet up, and, being only an hour from my home town - awfully convenient to myself

I could invite the two other silver 206 CC's that live down my street

As for venues...we could be really 'Max Power' and hold a cruise up and down Broad Street ?

Well in June I was still learning to drive, I had no CC and I has exams, so that was me totally eliminated from the whole thing.

So it looks like everyone is cool with Birmingham and April, so venue is the next thing to decide. Anyone???

Hey Erm, fancy joing Julia and me? It'd be just like the Italian job, but you can drive up the metal ramps first (maybe you're both too young to remember that bit, oops, showing my age). Pauline

Hi Erm, I was figuring if it's Birmingham, you'd have to come out of London on the A40 so we could join you on the way for our Italian job... Car seems fine so far thanks! Gone in 9am today for its Clifford 500 and won't get it back until 4pm tomorrow so that's 2 sunny days sacrificed for my paranoia's sake... Pauline

The PGAC meet is now on the 2nd Sunday of the month... at Bassetts Pole, Lichfield...

Bassetts Pole pub is on the junction of the A453, A38, A446 between Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth.

From M42.. Exit J9, and take the A446 North towards lichfield.. 8 miles and you come to a very large roundabout, will see the Pub in front of you..

See here for map http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... cale=50000

The pub is right on the big roundabout in the middle of the map...

We had around 15 Pugs, 7 Saxo's, a scooby and an Integra "R" at the meet last Sunday..

Simon,

I was intending coming to the meet at Bassetts pole but a dose of flu the previous week put paid to that and I couldn't ask my friend to look after my horse that day as it was her last day with her husband before he goes to work abroad so I had to look after her horse instead. Will like to come to next one though and Birmingham is only about 2 hours from Leeds so Erm if you are listening Birmingham is OK with me!

Burge/Erm,

I'll be either in Leeds or North London, depending on when this meet happens, so hopefully I can meet up to travel with one or other of you?

Role on the meet, summer, end of exams and top down motoring!!!
