what insurance company!?

hi everyone,

I have a little question that i hope all you people can help me with.

I am strugling to find an insurance company that can give me a decent quote - some not even giving a quote! mainly because of age and mods etc.

Im a male who is 22, never (apparently) a good combination!
the car is a 1.6, (so not even a super fast car)
but it does have however,
colour coded all over
lowered, stifened suspension
17" alloys
full sp kit, including wheel arches, grills etc
bonnet grill
rear lexus lights
clear fog light
chrome hoops
..... i think thats it at the moment, more planned of course, but any ideas of any good insurance companies will be greatly appreciated!
ps. I also have never claimed for an accident and have no points on my licence - not that that appears to make a difference!

i'm with www.esure.co.uk but they don't deal with anyone under 25

Esure won't cover the CC for anyone under 30. I used Dial Direct once before I was old enough to have a better choice

I've heard that Admiral are good for young drivers.

With all your mods you may want to try the specialist places..

Both websites are quite poor but do a search and you'll find their numbers.

Admiral do mods and quotes are fairly reasonable.

I'm 20 with the 1.6 and aftermarket rims, lexus lights.

I found that the cheapest were Adrian Flux closely followed by Eagle Star Direct.

axa won't cover you if your CC is lowered - they cancelled my policy for that reason.

i'm with adrian flux but only use them if you have to............

to cover a courtesy car for a day which companies have also done free for me costs Â£21. any changes to the policy also cost an admin fee. i won't use them again as they are robbing c***s.

my insurance runs out a few days before 1st march so if i get a new car then i'll hire a car for a week as it'll be cheaper than the cancellation fees they would charge. :rolleyes:
