Yeah it was a good show. The kid (chosen because he was gullible and easily manipulated) loaded one round into a chamber of a Smith and Wesson handgun, and Brown subliminally gave him the cue as to what chamber to put it in...

Take one bullet

Put it in one chamber

Can you see the right one?

etc etc

So the kid put it in chamber one. Surprisingly.

It was all showmanship, set the gun to chamber 3. Click. Chamber 4. Click. Pointed the gun away from him on chamber 5. Click. Then sat looking really worried and confused for a while (part of the act) then gun back to head, chamber 6 click and then quickly point gun away from him and fired chamber 1. Bang!

Apparently on the dvd there are extras including the rehearsal where he guessed wrong and blew his brains out!! :rotfl:

Beats starving yourself in a plastic box anyday!!!

Well either Greg or I can lend him an A2, and that'll work just fine!
Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.

So do you reckon this stunt was legit? I was thinking a few things (although I didn't see it).

1) Couldn't he have switched guns some way?
2) He's an illusionist -- I mean , I've seen people sawed in half -- but doesn't mean they were!

Did you watch that programme on sky? Illusionists uncovered (or something like that) Some Pretty clever stuff involved.

Derren Brown isn't an illusionist by all accounts, thats not where his talents lie....

And my L85 is about as much use as Stephen Hawkings treadmill at the moment. Got a real bad jamming problem. Bit like Bob Marley.

You're the same age as me and I was in the military proper at age 16. Spacey! :P

Anyway...back to mind control. Reckon I'm ok at it. Witness:

I want you to imagine a large blackboard. My hand picks up a piece of chalk and writes the number 1.
and the number 2 next to it.
and the number 3 next to that.
Finally the number 4.

Now my hand is taking the chalk and circling just one of those numbers. Keep in mind that circled number and scroll down....

Its the number 3 I circled wasn't it?

Now imagine a man standing in a doorway holding a flower...
Decide what the flower is and what colour it is...
Scroll down...

Red Rose?

I thankyou ;)

Imagine that big blackboard again. My hand appears again holding a piece of chalk and I'm writing a two digit number on the board.
The number is between 10 and 50. Both digits are different and they're both odd. Which number do you think I wrote?

35

Did you get it? If you thought it was 37 thats because I was trying to confuse you. Thats the number I first thought of....
