Help please

My stupid pc has decided to stop animating the smilies etc.

I have checked in internet tools, advanced and it shows "show animations in web pages"

Any ideas what else might be wrong?

Yesterday I went on a site that required quick time which I downloaded, but I didnt really want it so I un-installed it using add/remove programs. Would that have caused problems?

I run XP pro and IE6

you could use system restore and go back to a previous day when they were working, you would lose all your stuff that you have installed since though
