I was parking in my local Morrison's Car park to go food shopping when I heard a strange noise from the front right area of the car, didn't think much of it but when I finished parking I saw a massive trail of oil (touched it, was black sticky and smelt like oil)going up to my car......... I'm no engineer but looked under the bonnet and tried to look under the car to try and locate the leak, with no luck  .
Went shopping, got the food and decided to try and drive the car back home (5 mins driving , maybe even less). I checked the oil level in the engine (seemed ok) checked the temperatures gauges (seemed ok) and drove back home. Had another look under the car when in my drive, seemed that the oil is coming from the engine bay!!!!! .
The only difference I noticed in driving was a noise when I was steering (clunks, squeeky noises). Could it be some sort of fluid from the power steering? (although the power steering still appear to do its job).
Called Peugeot Assistance (in Italy, as they cover all over Europe anyway), they said it's best to call them back tomorrow morning so they'll get a truck out to bring it to the Dealer......

well well well, update on the leak.
I call peueot assistance this morning and get the car towed to the dealer (Tom Garner). They say that they'll call me if they manage to have a look at it today. To my surprise  , they did call me, only to say that they can NOT locate the bloody leak! grrrrrrrrr the guy says the bottom of the car is dry now (what does he expect, it happened 24 hours ago!), so i described him the leak again to him, and the appearance of the liquid.... fingers crossed! Bloody :mfight: :mfight: :mfight: :mfight: :mfight:

update: not only the bloody :mfight: :mfight: :mfight: didn't locate the leak, but they also managed to dent my front plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't believe it I got the guy at the desk to have a look at it and he had the cheek to say that it was like that BEFORE I broguht it in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They must have reversed another car into my front bumper and really dented my front plate!!!!!! I was FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got the manager, showed it to him and he said thay are not liable for damage in their carpark BUT they'll fix it tomorrow... apologising again (I told him they weren't really living up to the service standard they so proudly show off in the reception, a gold award in 2002 for customer service, off whom I ask myself!!!!!!!!!)
I told him again about the leak, he said they can not locate it. I really wish I had taken bloody pics of the MASSIVE puddle of OIL coming out of my car and dripping!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so annoyed it's incredible, I really am tempted to NEVER give my money to Peugeot ever again...........
The thing that pissed me off most was the fact that they were keeping on saying there's no leak there's no leak blah blha blah like I dreamt it!!!!!!

They are just a bunch of ABSOLUTELY USELESS MONKEYS, IN TOM GARNER MANCHESTER.

I hope they are reading this coz I told them I would shame them all over the internet! and it doesn't finish here!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have now taken pics of the plate, unscrewed it (the bumper appear to be intact under it) taken another picture, then screwed it back on....I'm curious to see what they are going to come up to, tomorrow when they'll try to fix it

Hopefully I'll keep this mood till the basketball game I'm going to play in 30 mins.....

It's likely that they're not liable for damage in their car park. However, this applies to you driving it in and leaving it there whilst (for example) picking up a 'bit' from the parts counter. As soon as you hand your keys over to them, they are liable for damage until you get the keys back. Ask the manager if that means you're not liable for damage to a courtesy car whilst it's parked on your driveway.
