it won't stick on the lower part of the windscreen for very long even with the 'spacer' some people have stuck their's about a foot from the dashboard but it may block part of your vision.

mines now blutacked to the dashboard coz it just kept falling off

may superglue it  or get some more sticky pads and give it another bash :D

It's legal as long as it's adjacent to the left edge of the windscreen. That means you can put it at the top if you want. Under the rear view mirror's illegal though, and people have been fined for it.

Just so's you know :D

Mine was fine stuck on the windscreen right in the bottom left hand corner, until...

...I had to change the tax disc, what a nightmare! I got frustrated and ripped it off, never to stick again, it kept falling off and making me jump (it is quite loud!) so after weeks of rolling around the dash I stuck it down with velcro!

Well I had my first experience of changing the disk at the beginning of the month - WOW  What a pain!!! After taking 20 mins to locate the missing allen key :? , it took me blimmin ages to get the disk to stay in place while I tried to screw the back on again, cos the disk kept slipping out :censored: :censored: :censored: <---- after doing lots of that and getting hot and bothered I finally got the new one in, and am very glad that I decided to buy a year instead of 6 months so I dont have the joy for another 12 months!!!!

Moral of this story - always put your allen key where you are going to remember where to find it
