I'm looking to sell my CC (leaving the country for a year) and looking for advice as to how much I can get for it.

Details
Silver 206 CC SE (2.0)
02 Plate
28K Miles
Silver
Black Leather interior
FSH
Bought from new from UK dealer
Excellent condition
Standard extras (Sports kit, CD, Climate control etc)

Any help (or offers) appreciated

Thanks

How quick do you have to sell it? If quick then look at autotrader.co.uk and make sures yours is among the lowest priced or no one will see it. Otherwise you can be more selective in your price and where you choose to sell.

Personally I'd have a stab at £12,000 - £13,000. Depending how quicj you want rid.

BTW Same dilema here too. I'm looking to sell my 6 month old 1.6 private this month as dealer offers have been crazy low on p/x (as low as £11k metallic, 17" alloys, leather and sports pack UK car rrp £17k ish)

I have just part exed against Audi TT and they gave me £12000. That was standard SE with cloth on 51 Nov with 17K on Clock

Some garages in NE are sell ing similar for £13 - 13.5K so £12 - 13 is the ball park I would think

Go to www.peugeot.co.uk and spec up a car.
then at the top of the screen it will have a heading called 'current car valuation' which is amongst other heading such as accessories etc, this takes you straight to the Glass's guide!!! For free!!!

Value your car here and then you can tell a dealer exactly what your car is worth! See how much they try to tell you that your car isn't worth much! Prove to them you have knowledge of your subject and they soon realise you aint no fool!

Doesn't work like that :(

Dealers either come up with a figure based on what they think or ring round traders to pass straight through.

I've had prices from £11,000 to £13,000 against cars with all the margin stripped out (eg. MX5 1.8is UK Car RRP £19,000 down to £15,500 with a free hard top!!) so no silly pretend P/X overvaluations these are real world trade in's.

A basic 2002 52 plate 1.6s, 10k miles books at £12,495 excellent trade in on Vauxhalls web site (also glasses guide powered). Mines an 03, metallic, leather, sports, 17" alloys, sports exhaust, sports suspension (all original parts) so draw your own conclusions.
