That would make it harder cos one slightly wrong movements and the reduced resistance would cause you to lose control even easierLander was much easier to operate in an environment with reduced gravity and thinner atmosphere.
Perhaps.
Anyway, I asked you to stop it!!

The scarey thing about the apollo missions is that they were all built by the cheepest bidder, and that the average mobile phone today has more computer power than the whole rocket did.
Yes I believe they went to the moon
After all Tom Hanks wouldnt have appeared in the Apollo 13 film if he thought it was a hoax, and Tom is a very clever astute man.

I like your style, very similar to my fingers in ears and chanting lah. lah, lah.
Nice to hear another person make a bit of sense round here Liz.

Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.

So looks like i'm the only person who isn't sure then, don't get me wrong i don't want to think it didn't happen but the evidence just doesn't seem to add up to me. I can inderstand why everyone wants to believe it did happen though, like someone telling you something all through your life then suddenly saying one day well actually that's not true,

To be honest i'm not sure either as there is a lot of evidence pointing the other way. Maybe they did land on the moon only to realised that some bugger had forgotten the camera, so had to reproduced it in Area 51!!So looks like i'm the only person who isn't sure then, don't get me wrong i don't want to think it didn't happen but the evidence just doesn't seem to add up to me. Anyway don't think it matters that much, it will always be considered one of the greatest moments in history, and its quite exciting knowing that man can get up there and discover new things. Pity the challenger disaster and space exploration budget problems are hampering our progress, but one day just maybe.........

Ah...the infamous LLRV (Lunar Landing Research Vehicle) more commonly known as the 'Flying Bedstead'. An unpopular but very realistic "earthbound" trainer. Yes I have seen the footage and Armstrong did indeed have to eject. But if I remember rightly there was a stabilising jet malfunction that contributed to this incident. The engine got the vehicle up to the test altitude and was then throttled back to support five-sixths of the vehicle's weight, simulating the reduced gravity of the Moon. Two hydrogen peroxide lift rockets with thrust that could be varied from 100 to 500 pounds handled the LLRV's rate of descent and horizontal movement. Sixteen smaller hydrogen peroxide rockets, mounted in pairs, gave the pilot control in pitch, yaw, and roll. As safety backups on the LLRV, six 500-pound rockets could take over the lift function and stabilize the craft for a moment if the main jet engine failed. The pilot had a zero-zero ejection seat that would then lift him away to safety.Have you seen Armstrongs last practice landing of the moon module on earth before the trip?
He hoped.
One of the remaining LLRV's (there were 5) is on display at the Dryden Flight Research Centre.

And Greenday, I can't believe you're still a non-believer!! After all I said on msn last night!!! I countered every single 'argument' you put forward!!

I merely raised a few, i could put together a list of stuff that i believe means it was fake, i will go back over the material i read at the time and make a proper list rather than just points i plucked out of the airAnd Greenday, I can't believe you're still a non-believer!! After all I said on msn last night!!! I countered every single 'argument' you put forward!!and properly too, not in a "CB p*** taking style"
