You can if you want to enough

Either that or just wedge the kid between the front of the back seat and the back of the front seat ;)

I've already tried that argument :!:

Apparently you can get a baby in but you can't get the ton of stuff that needs to go everywhere with you in as well.....unless you have the roof up all the time and wots the point in that :(

bad luck! One door closes another one opens, one baby goes another one arrives... Can't baby go on passenger seat, buggy etc on back seat, and other parent can walk? Sounds ideal to me but then you've not met my old man! congrats and commiserations all mixed together :D

seems like the perfect time to go and get a trade in price on a GTi 180 ;)

She cant argue that its not practical and with all the right amount of space etc.

Because:

a) You and the missus will often be in the car without all the stuff, or even without the baby (ie if one of you is staying at home and the other drives to work everyday) so there will still be plent of opportunity for roof down action
b) When said baby grows up, cc seats are perfect for small children AND you will be daddy cool

I picked up my new CC yesterday. Having just sold my new Mini Cooper due to a baby on the way. I already have a boy of 8 yrs old. He's going on the back seat and new baby in the front! Seeing the size of the boot (for the pram)and being able to switch the passenger airbag off convinced me to buy the car, oh and it looked pretty cool too!!

Hubby can drive his own car! :D
