So I'm just driving along minding my own business, wasting some time on the way to view a house. So I pulled into the Big W car park in Newark, got about 5 spaces into the car park when some absolute tosser decides he doesn't need to look behind him when he's reversing. BANG.
So, I do the usual, hazards on jump out the car, then he has the gaul to start shouting at me saying I was speeding.....(I'd just come round a 90 degree bend here, didn't know 10 MPH at most was a crime)..... Started looking at his car (a mere scrape) and tutting, then goes over to my car and he finally shut up. I tried to tell him that if it were my fault then I would have hit him and there would have been damage to the front of my car but he was an arsehole.
Did the whole insurance detail thing where he finally calmed down and asked me if I was okay.
After a series of stereo thefts, an accident (someone pulled out in front of me), part of a house falling on my car and then 2 further thefts, 13 days ago I finally managed to renew my car insurance and had built up....wait for it...... a WHOLE years NCD.
Insurance company told me he hasn't got a leg to stand on but I know these things never run smoothly.
Bugger bugger bugger bugger bugger. :(

:( Oh no Vanda! Thats such a pain! Glad you are okay though, can't really see how it could be your fault unless your car goes sideways :?

Hope you get it sorted soon :)

What a tw@t, he could have run over a child

Glad you're OK, but sorry you've gotta go through the insurance hassle... Who are you with? When I had my prang last year, Direct Line were great. I finally got a letter from them last month saying they had recovered all the money from the third party insurers and that it wouldn't affect my no claims.

He hasn't got a leg to stand on. Or he won't have, if you give me his address

Bad luck, what a bummer (I put a word to do with passing water but thought I'd better not!). Hope you get it sorted soon and you're OK.

Well sorry (again) that this happened for you!
You're in some sort of bad luck phase right now aren't you?

If it was me, then i wouldn't bet on it for me not atacking the guy looking at what happened before esp. when the :censored: comes out screaming YOU should be me careful...

But lucky for you you aren't me, so now you've got everything sorted out for the insurance companies...

Hope they can settle this quickly now!

And ehr... mars is moving away again maybe your luck is changing now... ;)
