u sound as if u r confusing urself stephen - and if ur not ur certainly confusing me
i would agree that the plate that this post is actually intended for is over priced as at the end of the day what does P20G C stand for - it wouldn't appeal to me at any price as P20G is obviously Pug 206 but the C is useless when the car is a CC.
if i do sell my CC without the plate then i will retain the plate until i get an offer that i think is acceptable. at the end of the day, it's the only relevant plate for the car and with thousands of new CC's on the road every year until the 207CC arrives in 2 years time or more then the market for the plate can only increase.

derek what u can sell something for and what its worth are 2 totally different things.
Uh You lost me there!
To me, they are EXACTLY the same thing - so if someone says his number plate is worth, say, £2,000 and someone offers just £650, then surely the market rate is £650 and if you hold out for 2 grand it aint gonna sell... so surely it's only worth what you can sell it for, not what you want ie £650 not 2 grand? ... or have I gone wrong somewhere?
think about it logically........ your saying you can NEVER be ripped off then cause if someone can sell it for something then its worth that.......course it aint.........you gotta be stupid to believe that!!!!
