I picked up my 206CC about 4 weeks ago - it has alreay been back in for the roof seals, rattly windows and a new drivers door moulding (among many other small things!!!).

Now my leather seats are squeeking - and not because I am doing anything I shouldn't be before anyone asks!!! When I change gear, go round a corner etc etc it squeeks.

Does any one have any ideas as to what the problem is??

Thanks

Is it whilst you're doing things you SHOULD be doing then?

Are you sure its the seats and not the seatbelt? All 206's seem to get the squeeky seatbelt problem, leather seats or not

My local dealer replaced loadsa peoples seat frames before pug worked out what it was! :D

It happens when I am driving my car. I already know that the seatbelt squeeks a little but it isn't the same sound as the seats. Is there anything I can do to stop the noise??

Try lubricating the seat runners, seat frame, or move the bars under the seat. if you cant then take it back may be a faulty frame. we had a Mondeo that had a squeaky seat frame, i moaned and moaned about it, they finally replaced the frame and the new one was worse. What it turned out to be was a missed weld....
That car was crap.

Many thanks Cappy - I will try that before I send it back to the dealership.

i've had this for the last 2/3 weeks.

it sounds to me on mine as if it's the recliner lever worth checking on yours.

before booking mine in i'm just waiting on a reply to a(nother) complaint e-mail from the arnold clark zoo - may as well be optimistic and hope that they do actually listen to their customers once in a while
