I saw a car with wheels that turned.

I was the wierdest thing!

The car (a BMW) stopped at some traffic lights but the wheels were still turning slowly. When it pulled away, they hardly seemed to move at all (a bit like wheel spokes sometimes do on telly), so the car seemed almost to glide along.

Obviously, the wheels were fitted with some sort of hub-cap that could spin freely. They were very shiny and, from where I was standing, looked no different to alloys. Has anyone else seen such a thing? I want some.

yeah in a issue of max power,they are all the rage in the states

soz can't give you anymore info but at least you weren't seeing things

As Lyndon says they are a big hit in the states, a few cars at Fairford have them, it was only a matter of time b4 they started here.

if you do asearch (styling section I think) I posted something about these wheels a few months ago. There was even a link to the manufacturers web site.
