Driving along the road stop and traffic lights then all of a sudden my cc became very chuggy and the diagnostic light kept flashing. Without going much further I consulted the manual who siad its something to do with the cat and should go to the dealer.
Luckily this incident happened 2mins from a nearby delaer who looked at it straight away. Apparently I had bad fuel and it wasn't burning problem which meant the coil wasn't igniting properly and causing the jerks! 20 mins as my cc was running like a dream. Though if the light re-appeared I'd need a new coil.
Just wondered if anyone else has had this. Its not like I use cheap petrol I usually stick to Esso!
Has anyone had their diagnostic light flash?

I had this once but not in the Pug, it seemed the fuel its really low at the petrol station so i must have picked up some free muck in the tank, it was shuddering for about 10 minutes on the way home, cut out a couple of times but after that was completelt fine

water in the fuel will do this
and most tanks in the ground at service stations have 2" of water at the bottom,so never fill up if theres a tanker in the garage or just been in

Hi Emma,
I had this not long after having mine, it was the oxygen sensor which had packed up but Peugeot replaced it.
