This probably isnt the place to post this but I'm a natural blonde so please forgive me in advance :D

Has anyone replaced their aerial?? And if so how on earth did you get the old one off?!? I bought one of those ikkle ones but I can't get the original one off at all :( When I turn it, it also turns the base that its screwed into, running out of patience rapidly!! Soooooo if anyone has managed to take it off, how did ya do it?!

Thanks lots :)

The join has probably been rusted together i had a few problems to start with.

get a pair of pliers and hold the bottom half firm and then just turn the top if it's not too rusted you should be fine. i know it's not a lot of help but it did the trick for me :)
THANK GOD WE'RE NOT IN THE CONFERENCE!

Thanks Cyril, I tried that though  When I grab the plastic bit, the metal bit that the aerial is screwed into just keeps turning, can't grab a hold of it :(

Worst case:

Take courtesy light out. Unclip courtesy light surround & take that out. Unscrew the nut on the base of the aerial, take aerial out. Then mess about with it in a more convenient location.
