I destroyed my mums fiesta with 4 passengers in when I was about 20ish, (was driving). The other car never stopped @ the crossroads, but decided to stop in the middle of the road looking @ me! couldnt avoid it because :a)i was going @ about 60 Kmh and b) on the left there was a concrete pole and c) on the right there was a concrete wall... I did brake tho! ;) . No one was hurt, incredibly, my friend on the pass seat was wearing the seatbelt, I wasn't! (DOH)
Another accident was scarier and again a fiat uno written off but I wasn't driving.
We were in the mountains during the summer near Florence where we have a house and one evening we wanted to go to a village nearby's party. This guy I barely knew (he was some relative of a friend of ours) offered to give me and 2 friends a lift there.
Mountaing road, very very narrow and poorly protected to the exposed side (if you know what I mean). The guy decides to impress us switching the lights on and off.... then all I remember is me in the back of the car rolling down a precipice......and trying to get out of the car froma smashed window.....AND trying to climb back up the road IN COMPLETE OBSCURITY!. the car was destryoed (they had to get one of those cranes to get it out of the precipice), and no one was hurt! only minor aches for the following couple of weeks.......

I've reversed into a street light, driven into a parked landrover (didn't see it!), crashed into the side of a bus, drove into a traffic island thingy (with the yellow cone thing) and driven into a pile of bricks (didnt see those either!), reversed into a wall, hit a post in mcdonalds drivethru ... the list is endless!

Its my sort that give women drivers a bad name

I like the bit about not seeing the landrover or the pile of bricks, as i can imagine them being really hard to miss ;)

I still have no idea how I didn't see the landrover, I was driving into a parking space, thought I would have to be treated for shock when I hit it, it *really* magically appeared!

nissan micra going 60km/h at an intersection
crossed on yellow
other car was a peugeot 504 station wagon
smashed into my right rear side
my car spun
crushed a guy in between me and the first parted car
you could see his hip bone imprint in my sheet metal
and then i hit 6 parked cars
my car was a total loss
the peugeot?
had a broken headlight and a cracked grille
so they don't make them like they used to

Worst thing was i got halfway up the road before i saw him in my rear view mirror waving and sweraing lots

joining a dual carriagewayjust infront of a hgv on the inside lane (girlf driving), heh clipped the dirver side rear end of her fiesta, span it and we spun around and into the path of his lorry. We were sat facing the front of his cab being pushed backwards at 50 miles an hour, finally ended up ramming us into the central reservation.

absolutely *cacked* myself, girlfirend was in hysterics, and the t**ser didnt even stop for about 500 yards.

Car was a right off, no injuries thank god, but the driver didn't even come over and ask how we were.

Thankfully a rozzer arrived within about 30 seconds. :)

£4,600 damage to the car and an vast uknown amount to repair a 20 yard section of the M5 central reservation.

Image [img]http://www.webcodedesign.co.uk/1 ... /img][url]

January 2001, Cool Clear Dry Day.. No outher vehicles involved..
Location: M5 on ramp, J11 North..
It is signed 30 mph and is a sweeping 360 degree left hand bend, but tightens half way round.. Enter at 50ish, start turning, a little more throttle! Maybe 50mph +, cross over the white line into the "hard shoulder", but it was either very Greasy or gritty, Back end starts to go, and then the fatal mistake was to Lift off the throttle...
Manage to straighten up but the road was still going left, but the car wasn't  .. Hit the Barrier side on as U can see from the pics..
Couldn't get out and look at the damage for 10-15 mins.. however The Wife jumped out straight away after she had stoped Screaming and Told me exactly the way it was :censored: :yikes: :sawery:

condition submit to the domination of the English.

alone, which no good man gives up except with his life. Arbroath 1320
