Hi

Never had another CC owner wave at me. I once waved like mad at this gorgous blonde in a silver CC on the M1, but she never waved back. :(

She probably thought I was mad, especially as I was heading towards the central barrier as I was looking at her instead of the road.

Any gorgous blondes in the Leeds area please wave at me (but not when my g/f is in the car), Im the guy in the Balck CC with 10inch exhaust.

Hi Pauline
I've got a little bit of time to go yet - year after next in fact, but I shall be commencing therapy shortly to prepare me for it!

How's about other convertible drivers, do they wave you?
Yesterday some 70's Mercedes SL wave to us when we drove with roofs down 8)
I think some older (60's and so on cars) cabriolet owners are more sociable than others, they usually wave when they see another cabriolet at road. I mean old cars, not old people

Hi Jussi
I agree
I used to have a 1950's convertible Singer Gazelle and other drivers were much more friendly when I was driving her - they would smile, wave and even give wayat junctions.

I agree with Flo classic cars owners are much more tuned in to waving. My Morris Minor never fails to be waved at and indeed always seems to get let out of junctions

 No CC drivers have ever waved at me, even Greenday ignores me when I've seen him about

I only seem to attract waves from van/lorry drivers and general weirdos!

Hahaha Aimee - I remember on route to Thorpe Park - just as we had pulled out the first Sainsburys and sitting at the traffic lights... that van with 2 blokes in beeped and waved at you!
;)

I must admit when out at the weekend - CB and I saw a few CCs and I didnt bother waving. The people were just miserable and didn't even look over and smile.
We did follow a silver CC for a short way - personlised plate with a "more mature" couple in. They smiled! :D

People prob see me and think oh gawd its her - quick look the other way!

Julia dont you dare stop waving. just think next time you wave and the other person doesnt wave back - maybe they are just disheartened wavers who turned MISERABLE once they stopped?
