Top Gear was a load of crap Vader would have whipped Ming’s arse . I am sorry to disagree with you all, but I think the Pluriel is great. We test drove one and if the 207cc shares it’s chassis then I might just get a 207cc. The gearbox is the best paddle shift I have ever tested and as for the roof it is a total contrast to the CC, but then Peugeot and Citroen are the same company so they would be stupid to sell to the same market, which is probably why most people here do not like it. I also found that the Citroen has noted some of the CC's faults and rectified them. I would also say the build is better that the CC simply because there is less to put together and less to go wrong although the dashboard is a little tacky.

I must now admit I once owned a Citroen visa convertible. Not the manliest of cars, but the roof system was very practical in much the same way as the Pluriel. Ideal for British weather. What most people do not understand about convertible cars is how pratical they can be. The stuff I used to carry in my 205 cti whilst doing my house up was mad and I would have normally needed a white van or pick up to carry such stuff. It is nice to see Citroen has recognized this. My Citroen Visa was on a D reg and I paid 800 pounds for it and sold it for 1300 a year and a half later. Zero depreciation and nothing went wrong with it. My Peugeot 205 cti was on a J plate and I lost 3000 pounds from 3 years of ownership and virtually everything went wrong with it. As a family we have owned countless Citroens and 4 Peugeots. The Citroens have always proved trouble free unlike 2 out of the 4 Peugeot’s.

I did try to get my partner to buy one as they are a true 4 seater with practicality built in they also have a character like the old beetles. I am sure Pluriel drivers wont mind acknowledging one another unlike some CC drivers!

Fare play to Citroen for having the balls to make this car. At least they are a not trying to get on the open top style bandwagon like the sportsKA and smart roadster an area where there is already a true champ- the CC.
