I would like someone to tell me how to pronounce PEUGEOT

Is it PURRJO? PEWJO?

Any ideas?

The person i know at head office says pew-jo. Then again he is scottish. Come to think of it he's also a bit of a tosser!

I know this post is six months after everyone else's, but I just wanted to add something.

When we first went to our local dealer to look at a 206CC, our son (he was 8 at the time) thought it was pronounced PEE-GWOT

I get picked up often with how I pronounce peugeot!!!

I say peugeot as in PHEW-JOE, maybe it is my scottish accent??

it is definately a scottish thing - there are a lot of sweaty socks in my family and they all say it like that. Since its a scottish thing maybe its something to do with all the Whisky and heroin?

Yes Scottish and English people pronounce things differently, but so what but I dont get offended about this scottish english thing that goes on and on and on and on and on and on.... life is too short.
