As a few of you here have seen, thanks to the introduction of 18" ACE alloys (courtesy of Paul y3k) to my 206 (not CC), I am currently driving round in a monster truck. Now I can't get the car lowered yet, as i still owe for the wheels themselves. However, I may have 'aquired' a pair of 206 springs that will drop the car up to 40mm. My problem is, where the hell do you go to get the work done? Don't really want to visit the zoo, so what kind of places should i be looking out for to get quotes? I am in the Oxfordshire area but somewhere in Swindon would be quite handy if anyone knows of anywhere. Also what kind of price shuld i be looking to pay? Mates have suggested anything in the region of £120 to £250. Does it make a difference that i will be (hopefully) supplying my own springs?

Cheers

greg good luck lowering your car on them alloys..... you gonna need some mega arch work cuz they are too wide for the body of ya car!!!!!

you gonne need to hack out alot of the arches for 8x18s to fit in the rear arches of a 206.

Also as the car has a torsion bar the work must be done by a professional not just anyone. The only places i'd trust are R-Tec in herts or Xtreme in harlow
MMMMmmmmmm V-TEC u gotta love it :)

You must be the lucky one then.
I have seen some of their work and I would not trust them with a Skoda yet alone a CC.
