Aftre a couple of months my cars with the monkeys again a) to have the new brake pads fitted b) to have the window lowered again as when they raised it it has made more water come in c) the carpet in the drivers footwell needs refixing again as it's too short d) the drivers window clicks when I put it up as I'm driving along. I spoke to my sales person as he seems to be the only person who cares about my car and it's problems and says he's getting sick and tired of the dealership group that I'm with as they don't seem to care and if the car is no better I am going to be given a contact name of the person incharge of the Becks goup so I can make a complaint because I told him after I ordered the new Brake pads that noone knew anything about them and it took 3 phones call to get an answer about them.

question: are the brake pads the ones that don't squeak? how long did they take to arrive? My dealer says my order is "blocked" by peugeot for those pads!

Hi The Minel the brake pads that were ordered are the new non squeak brake pads and I hope they are much better, I cannot believe that they have been blocked by Peugeot because my dealer says that Peugeot UK knows about the problem go back to the Dealer and demand that they look at their service update and it says on there that they have to do it free of charge under guarantee as I have read it myself the dealer I think is trying to fob you off, it's a load of rubish they are telling you when I return to collect my car I'll hava a word with my person and see if I can get something sorted for you ie a contact.

ps the brake pads took 3/4 weeks to get.

My dealer ordered the part (they said it would be free only if the car was >6 months old or >6000 miles. Mine is nearly 1 year old so I would have to pay for it), then they said that the order itself was blocked by Peugeot.....any one has the number to speak directly with peugeot uk?

Got my car back late this afternoon and so far all seems okay but I have to say that I haven't done any miles as such so can't say if the new brake pads have worked also I ma having the window seals replaced both side and they hope the water fall effect on the drivers side will be cured.

My cc's at the dealers too

Its spending the night there due to no free play in the throttle cabling ? causing lumpiness on cold starts - they say they have fixed it but i asked them to prove it from cold tomorrow morning. For once this may make sense as about 3 months ago a spring clip flew off my throttle cable which i replaced , but it hasn't been the same since.

Ask to speak to the manager of customer services or the Md they will be ok to put you through but remember dont shout or loose your temper or they will hang up.
Are car is also sick got a leak.
They are going to put new seals in and re align the roof!!!.
never to work again

to stop the roof becoming mis-alligned it seems to be a good idea to alternate which clip you undo/do up first when you are putting the roof up & down. I try to do both clips up at the same time now and haven't had any problems since i've been doing it. I also try not to park on slopes/up kerbs to put the roof up & down

Yes thats easier said than done, our drive is on a slope!
But will try your ideal with doing the roof clips up though.
