Does anyone know where I can source a pair of chrome loops for the rear seats? I have seen them in photos and would like to get a set for my car....if they are not too expensive!

I have just ordered some brush chrome 'jobbies' from France using my mate who lives in Paris. They work out at about £120.00 (not including p&p). My mate is over in a few days so he will be delivering them in person.
Will keep you posted if it all ends as smoothly as it at the moment seems.

I saw an order form for ones from France but I just wasn't too sure if it was legit but I'll maybe give it a try cos they're £170 + VAT = £200 from ecosse! You could maybe let me know if you get them ok Seejay

Cheers for the link Ni'cc'k ;)

I too ordered some hoops from Camotos in France, they are legit. Mine have been fitted for some months now and look okay (Lyndon has a pic, I'll see if I can badger him to update my profile with it). I've posted a couple of things about them (perform a search for info). Quite a cheap mod though compared to the mesh grille and lexus style lights. Oh, and fit them yourself (don't ask Peugeot, they quoted me £150 !) details are out there on the Pugsport-GTI site

Stuart,
did you just send them a bankers draft for 213 euros plus the 22 euros for shipping and handling for europe. I wasn't too sure cos there was a wee statement about people in the U.K. having to send a cheque or mandate with the order. Is that just referring to the 22 euros?

I just sent a bankers draft for the TOTAL in €uros, for which you get charged a tenner (at HSBC). I can't remember exactly how much the hoops were. The goods arrived well packaged and quickly. I did have a problem were I managed to break one of them whilst fitting (see previous posts) but managed to get hold of a replacement from Camotos. They are not perfect, but they're ok. I'm taking my battered beast (I am minus a wing mirror) to the meet next week - so you can give them the once over if you're there. Check out the Muskatier hoops, being German they will probably be better made (!!) - a little more radical.. :

Cheers Stuart,
you're right about the musketier loops being better, they are diffrent class! I'll try and get my hands on a set, although the bar looks pretty cool as well!
Won't see you at the meet I am on holiday

What happens to the two inside holes when you fit the bar? Does it come with blanking plates?

For info on the bar, contact one of Musketiers distributors available at

There is also reseller info and colour brochure order available at :

Each to his own, but that bar is quite obscene (individualistic though !) Not sure about the holes that would be left after removing the standard rool hoops...

Guys/Gals,
I phoned Superspeed (Edinburgh) and the muskatier roll bar/loops are the same price and they come in at £350 + VAT. You pay the dough up front and the payment takes 1 week to go thru' then you wait 7-10 for your bar/loops. I think I'll need to crash a Sunday shift in!!

Alexls : The guy said he didn't know for sure but assumed the fixing kit would come with blanking plugs.

£350 + vat seems a little on the steep side if your fitting them yourself.

I know Robbie I was maybe thinking about £250 myself all in but its more than double the price of ecosse, and nearly three times more than the camotos one from France!! Maybe they are not just silver in colour!

Hmm, should be gold plated for that price, now I wonder what that would look like with black.
