Sage Accounting

Hi all,
does anyone know if sage accouting packages can be bought with a limited use / student type license agreement ? Only the other half needs it for one unit of her accountancy course and at Â£100 odd quid it seems a bit daft for 2 weeks worth of wrok.

Does it have to be the latest version?
I think Ive got a copy thats never been used, not sure how old it is, I bought it at a computer fair about a year ago, but then ditched my company. (Bloody IR35)

err i don't think it has to be the latest and greated. Sage inline 40 or personal accounts .. somehting like that ?

Hi ya i think they might offer a discount for students on the Line 50 range - not 100% sure though

if ur need to use Sage & just want a basic package for accounts - dont they still do the instant range - which is around Â£30 i believe???

hmm sage instant accounts Â£130 from amazon. About the same price as pc world. thanks for the suggestion though.

when loading the disc you get 1 month of free use before u need to register,so for 2 weeks of work ill post u my disc,saying that,ive got the same accounts on my home pc and laptop and it work fine so if i send u my code as well then it work for ever

I think i might have a few copies of instant accounting at work (sage send us free copies) You wont have any problems registering the product on an infinite number of machines as long as it v 8.2 but 9.10 has licence manager and so wont work without either web or phone register
