All...

At last im chuffed with my CC. I first though i had a manifold issue a year ago...pug denied there was any noise but I could hear a loud metallic rattling noise at low revs.

6 months later my catalytic convertor died and so they fixed it...still had the same rattle. Now my roof was rattling too, and my brakes squeaking.

Went for a serivce (40k) last week and got new discs and pads which sorted the squeak.

They also admitted (after a mechanic finally drove my car) that the manifold was cracked. 3 days later it was fixed on warrenty despite me having a devil back box. They also tightened my roof catches..

Now my CC feels twice as fast and really smooth, and the roof no longer rattles..and ive beat a golf GTI, and TDI 150 and Nova GSI since...

bring it on!!

Ok just a small question...
I sometimes hear a sort of a rattle/tingling sound
But i cannot find the translation for 'Manifold' in Dutch
So i cannot explain to my dealer if they can check if my 'manifold' is ok...
So can you give me a description what the manifold is?
Is it the first part of your exhaust attached to your engine? :?
