Hi All,

i was looking forward to some roofless motoring at the up coming meet but alas it's not to be

On tuesday i shown somebody at work the roof as they had never seen it b4  on putting the roof back up they saw a small spray of what looked like oil coming from the area just behind the boot lock

looked in the boot later and there was a stream of oil all along the boot rubber :censored: phoned up my local dealer, Dixons of Mansfield, spoke to a very nice service chap called Ian, got it booked in for today, blimey fast for a change ;)

they had the car all day while i was at work and this is the fault report they filed -

hopefully they will have the new parts in on monday when they have got the car AGAIN to have the manifold sorted :D :D :D :D

oh well at least it' not costing me a penny, all done under warranty :D

Yeah - if it is only the hydraulics that are buggered rather than the actual mechanism, then surely it is safe enough to do it manually (just pretend you have an escort cabriolet of some other kind of backwards manual crappy system! :D
