Hi Everyone
How long does it roughly take to get a new 206cc delivered to a U.K. dealership once the car is built ?
The Peugeot dealership at Worcester told me my car was built today (26th June).

thanks in advance :D

can vary depending to delivery schedules to dealer but i would hope for it to be ready for collection within 7-10 days max.

once you have a build date the dealer can normally estimate delivery - i have always been able to get an actual delivery date once the car is built

Hi Derek
Thanks for the reply only I'm taking it to France for a fortnights holiday on the 26th July.Got to have it by then or I might as well have waited for the new reg (53).They quoted me 2-3 weeks cos they said it was 48 hrs for this, 48 hrs for that etc etc etc & they don't count week-ends.

Hopefully I will get it in time or they can stick it till the 1st September.

if it has been built then you should easily have it by then. i can't remember how long my first one took but my replacement CC took 7 days from being built to being collected by myself.

good luck - enjoy - and welcome to the forum :D

I really hope what happened to me doesnt happen to you!
You know the BIG transporters that have about 10 cars on.... well my little CC was on the bottom and got crushed by the upper level as the driver pressed the wrong button! You would think these transporters would have sensors to stop this happening but apparently not and apparently it is quite common!

Goodluck with it Pacman! :D

hey look in the bright side :D ................

i ordered mines at end of july 2001, waited the 20 weeks you had to at that time and got it on 6/12/01. i had it for 79 days - the dealer had the car for 36 of them. then it was rejected and i had to wait another 5 weeks on a new one.

and there was me happy i had jumped the queue as the waiting list was 12 weeks at that time

Hi

I have just rejected mine, I have been quoted 16-18 weeks for my replacement.

I could of got an exact replacement earlier (3-4 weeks), but this time I wanted agy blue with black leather so they have had to order it from the factory. Its cost me an extra £400 as mine will be older and it will be on a 53 plate.

The dealership said with the weather been so good lately the waiting time has nearly doubled in the last month or two, but then again I take everything they tell me with a pinch of salt now.

Regards

my dealer managed to jump the queue for me but it was in their interest as i had a virtually new P307 2.0GLX as a courtesy car while i was waiting as part of the agreement. my old CC wasn't fit for the road so i couldn't use that
