Help!
I have fitted the 18" alloys kindly provided by Paul y3k to my new 206 (not a CC ;) )
They look ace, but the back wheels are rubbing...Does anyone know where i can purchase larger spacers from? Preferably really quickly as I want to bring my car to Thorpe Park and don't want you all to laugh at the horrible noise its making...

Thankyou!

mate u cant just buy spacers and expect your wheels to stop rubbing. u need to find where its rubbing first. you also need rounded tyres (which i presume its got) so that it gives you a bit more clearance. and you iwll probs need your arches rolled.

Out of interest CB, do you notice any handling issues with the 18s on? With a heavy diesel engine you could loose a lot of handling with wheels that big... just a thought!

I believe the place that supplied my Wheels told me that the offset for the 206cc wasn't the same as the offset for normal 206.

Seemed to be Peugeot nut so I've no reason to doubt him (he even knew what tyres the 1.6s would come with from memory.

coo ee darlin ... should i feel guilty ???
i didn't know of any difference between the offsets and i was under the impression the cc arches were smaller than the cc ...
do you get rubbing all the time mate / or just naughty speed bumps ?
but yeah rolling the arches will prob fix it though ...
gimme a call if you wanna ! I'm not online much at the moment but ya got my mbl !

Just to clarify...the tyres are NOT rubbing the arches...there is loads of room there (above the tyre) It is rubbing behind the wheel (ie towards the axle) Therefore i believe these extra spacers i have will cure the problem but am wondering if the bolts will be long enough after fitting new spacers over original spacers. I only need to bring the wheel out about 5mm.
