CB........

it wasnt just an eminem concert it was the anger management tour with all the other rappers.....

every concert has a support act and to be honest it wuda been a rip off to pay 30 quid to stand in a field just to see eminem perform for an hour and a half on his own.

Xzibit really has some talent and i got massive respect for the guy after the performance he put on yesterday which i think was even better than eminem.

It gets a bit repetitive hearing the same voice over and over so i was glad D12 and Obie Trice were performing with eminem, and they are his boys and he never ever performs without them not even on the up in smoke tour.

And as for freaks queuing up.... yeh ok there were alot of colourful characters there but was all apart from the one fight really good natured and everyone having a laugh with eachother.

Hope your mates had fun at the pub and are happy with the 20 quid because yesterday was a quality day and i'm sure the majority of the 60,000+ people who went wud agree with me
MMMMmmmmmm V-TEC u gotta love it :)

People leaving the Anger Management Tour concert to go and sit in a Pub ?

Saturday was fantastic, the weather was great, it took about 1hour to get accross and into the car park - so what, I had 'da hood' down, factor 12 on and enjoyed the sunshine, and enjoyed watching the colourful characters that were about, most people were 'normal' though - not too many wannabe-wiggers.

We arrived at 4 and the place (as expected) was heaving, I wanted to listen to a bit of Westwoods set, the sound for that was pants and the music was mediocre.

It was great just sitting there, chilling (or rather, sweating!) and watching the world go by. By the time Cypress Hill came on people were getting a bit restless but they did an amazing set and were very patient with the sound problems. Xzibit was good - the highlight being 'X' for me anyway. Eminems entrance to the show was excellent, pure genius, him and his homies were fantastic, 50Cent was a good showman, nai on ruined 'in da club' for me by firkin around with his voice, Hayleys Song was well done - all in all WELL worth £30, people I sold tickets to at £50 were all overjoyed with it - so your mates missed out !

Excellent day out, a pain in the arse trying to get home (2hours just to get to the M1!) but worth it. Roll on any future dates (which Sara Cox rumoured today).

I'd pay more than £30 to listen just to Green Day or any band in the same league as them for an hour and a half, cos they put on a good show that keeps you interested for that long and you still want more when its finished

Also how good a gig is doesn't depend on the amount of people that tun up or Westlife would be the best band around

Whats got 100 legs and no pubic hair?

The front row of a Westlife concert

ps these two geezers who gave their tickets up were both coppers so i sppose that explains it. as for me...I've seen Madness 13 times and will continue to pay crazy money to do so - so each to their own me reckons.
ps For the record, I think i said i like Eminem :P

"Meanwhile, it has emerged that the £275,000 necklace Eminem gave to a female fan in the crowd at his Milton Keynes Bowl gig is only worth £500."

And whilst we're talking about giving things away - the two Green Day gigs I've been to they've got people out of the crowd to form a band onstage. After the one in Nottingham, the lead guitarist gave his guitar to the guy who got up to play!

I don't think it was a particularly special or expensive guitar, but it would definitely be worth taking home!

That guitar has been with Billie since he starting playing, i don't think its the famous "Big Blue" as Billie treasures that too much to risk taking it on stage but hey it certainly is a bit of Green Day history ;)
