When i start my car about 7 out of 10 times the airo is on the auto-mode. even when it was on eco when i drove it before.

It's not bothering me too much but i just wondered if any of you experienced the same thing?

When the airco is on, the car uses more mpg i heard?

The air con does automatically kick in sometimes. If you hit the off button that should stop it coming on automatically, when you want to switch it on again press the off button again.......if you press auto it will start coming on on its own again.

As for the other question yes you do use moe fuel when the air con is on.

Yes, i thought so!
Then it is strange that this doesn't show on the computer.
I heard it costs about 5-10% extra mpg?
I this is the case then it is strange that this doesn't show on the actual mpg and the milages left figures on the computer...

It will do. You're unlikely to notice it on the instant mpg readout and the averages will take time to drop.

Mine does the same. Damn Frenchman, can't even make AC work right.

I always use the "off" to start it and turn it off, but I feel on hot days when I turn on the car it turns on the AC in auto mode. the car is such a blabber  I have never seen this thing happen on cold days, but when I start the car under the sun it automaticly blows in my face with all power ! maybe it inspects the temp changes and blabs...
