I feel recommended tyre pressure for 1.6 (195/55 R 15) F=2.5 bar R=2.5 bar and F=2.5bar R=3.0 bar (loaded) are too high makes CC bumpy, my driving condition is 25% highway up to 130km/h and the rest in city go and stop from 0 to 70km/h.
Since 1200km on odd meter I tried many different setting decided to set on 2.2bar for F and R. Now it is 15000km without uneven wear and riding comfortably. (rotated every 5000km)
If any of you feel harsh and bumpy, I suggest you to lower your pressure but please do not over do for safety reason.

32psi was for the 16" alloys on a 2.0 car

if you have different wheels and tyres I would suggest experimenting a little, shouldnt be that much different though.

I am talking about 15" tyre, recommended 35psi and 43psi on rear when loaded.
Sorry to confuse you if anyone talked about it, I am new here.

When I did a driving course the instructor said to increase the tyre pressure for the following conditions: sunshine, cloudy, rain, etc ie his view was that the manufacturers' recommended tyre pressures were set for comfortable ride not safety and that increasing the tyre pressure was better for safety and fuel consumption. I always put an extra 4+ psi per recommended tyre pressure and yes it's a bit firmer but I'm assured it's safer.
