At least his mate got away - my mate lent someone their car, and their insurance didnt cover them. My mate got 6 points and a fine for the equivalent of 'aiding and abetting'! :shock:

I know - she wanted no points & a higher fine, so that she could make him pay it but they gave her six points and a smaller fine than he got.

Seems he was a named driver and thought that meant he was also covered 3rd party on other cars - obviously we all know that aint the case, but he got stopped (for driving down a pedestrian area of all things) and when he tried to explain whoose car it was, etc they done him for it! Thats fair enuff but doing the cars owner too is BANG out of order! :(

no ........but I really need them anymore I over my Young Fogey stage (so 80's don't you know)......unfortunateley I have photos to prove it. but if CB feals comfortable he can keep them I 'd offer him more but I think my mother threw it all away when they moved.

Please to see the choice of a "sensible" deisel ,so I geuss its down to M&S for a make over
