Have you picked up the car yet CB? I wanted either Xsi or Dturbo when i got my hatchback. My mates 306 Dturbo was quite nice - good pull up until licence loosing speed (and who cares if it dropped off then - there's no REAL need to go much faster

look after your car ...............

was talking to a mate from work today. i heard he had an accident 2 weeks ago and thought it was in his own car which is a normal 206 but fully colour coded black with 16" nimrods.

turned out he had a loan of a mates X reg 206 GTi who was on holiday and was only insured 3rd party although he actually thought his insurance transferred over at fully comp. anyway the car went off the road on a slip road going onto the M9 - sounds possibly like a blow-out. the car spun, rollled and hit a tree and the police say he only survived as he wasn't wearing a seat belt as he was thrown out of the car and landed on the grass verge.

car is a write-off not surprisingly and he has had to pay the owner £8000 for the car :(

i know, thats the best way to look at it and he knows it although he's a bit gutted as he only had £1000 and has had to borrow £7000 and pay it back for the next 3.5yrs and nothing to show for it.
