as i am gettin' a bit tired of the standard horn on my cc i'm thinking of replacing it.

does anyone know if it's easy to do that and if the horn is easy to 'pull out' ?

thanks in advance...

Gosh Denmark, to get tired of your horn how many times must you use it? Is there a traffic problem where you live?

I think my horn is much too quiet and weedy, doesn't do anything for the reputation of the car. As I've said before on the Forum, I try not to use it incase other drivers just laugh.

Are you thinking of replacing with one like on Delboy's robin reliant!!!:)

I think rachel's right though, no one really replaces the Horn in a car

wrong we were going to replace the horns in both of our cars.

The recommended hors are eith from an Alfa 156 or (dont luagh) a Autin Montego.

The Montego is a good horn and will only cost about £5 from motor spares shops as they are so old.

I would also like to remind you that YOU MUST inform your insurance company even if you change the horn. Most wont car as its not a performance mod - it may even save them paying out.

LOL

Thing is this town is full of Deaf Old People who really shouldn't be on the road.. So unfortunately it takes about 130dB to make any impression on their ear drums!
