:? Hi all ,

Been using my aircon a lot recently but find that it isn't really that effective even when set to 14 celsius . In a ford focus the other day the air con got the car so cold within 5-10 mins had to turn it off . Is mine dodgy or anyone else experience the same ?

Got climate control and it works perfect!

I had the roof down and the airco at 14 degrees this weekend to keep me a bit cooled down 8)

Had a focus before and that worked not as good as this one imo.
Maybe you should bring it to the :monkey: :monkey: for a check up?

I agree - i was just thinking last week how cack the company car's air con was (thats a mondeo too!) Had the fan control fully right and nothing - tried it fully right and was a little better but not much!

It very effective here, changing from 23 to 22 make quite a bit of difference. Press OFF then AUTO again to reset the settings, make sure the A/C is lit. you can still adjust the temp without the A/C being on which doesnt really cool anything. I know it a bit obvious between A/C and ECCO but sometimes switching from ECCO to A/C doesnt do it for me (something faulty there on my car).

We are out in Israel and it can get real hot (too hot even to have the roof off). Even so we find after about 5 - 7 minutes the car is cooled down from an oven state if we run the ac on full blast.

My air con is brilliant

I usually switch it off when I have the roof down though. And it even starts up on its own! I left the car parked in the sun with the roof up, when I got back into it, it was an oven inside, and the air con came on at 16 degrees to cool the car without me touching a thing.

Yep, that's automatic air con's nice feature ;)
