Well I've just received my new pair of aluminium hoops (thanks Derek!) and want to fit them but I'm not sure how to remove the rear seats.
I understand that I only have to remove the seat backs? But where do I have to pull them and do I pull upwards or outwards? I'm a bit worried of just yanking at them in case I break something!

First of all Hi Nelly, pull gently at the top of the seat back and slightly lift it and it should release, on the seat there is a metal bar and on the bit of the car there is a hook.
I have just fitted mine and it was easy.
pm me if still not sure.

I actually found it quicker to remove rear seat bench. This can be done by unding two bolts on under the front edge of each seat ....seat slides out. This gives you access to two bolts one at the bottom of each seat bench this allows you to remove seat backs completely.
Why is this quicker.
If you just lift the seat back access is limited I couldn't manipulate socket wrench easily in the space available and it was taking ages. The wrench kept slipping and I was worried about damaging the leather.
