Hi everyone, as we are picking the babe up on Saturday does anyone have any tips as what to check on the motor can anyone help :?: . :)

check all the below BEFORE you sign on the dotted line

paint work for stonechips/scratches :D

make sure the roof works :D

check the interior for scratches/scuffs to the dashboard and/or fabric/leather seats :D

er can't think of much else at the mo :oops:

Check alloys closely for scratches/kerb marks, as once you drive away the dealer will probably accuse you of doing them (and who can blame them really!)

Check locking wheel nuts are fitted - if not, make sure they give you a box. Check the wheel repair foam is in the boot.

I got given an out of date manual - check yours relates to your car (pictures of the key in the book are a good sign)

Check its not raining, and get that roof down!

I hear it is a good idea to go on a 100 mile each way run the second day you have a cc - preferably where the car will be around other cc's.

I know - why not come karting? (You will have to ask adrian nicely and see if adding people is possible at this late stage :D )

At least you only had to wait from march, i got mine in Ireland and imported it over... i waited 16 weeks... and got it last friday!!!


but it was worth the wait..... :lol:

I got mine Good Friday and its not colour co-ordinated :(

have you tried raising this with the dealer? If you're lucky they may do you a discount on getting the strips & bumpers sprayed... It makes a huge difference, and colour co-ordinated CCs look so much better IMHO

check that u'r warranty and maintenance manual has the right vin number in it as well as the voucher for the first service :twisted:
