Hi all,

After months of having people partially block the access to my drive , yesterday things came to a head when I accidentally rammed one of the offenders cars with the back of my cc  Expecting to find a shattered bumper etc after seeing the offenders car shunted 4 feet backwards I was pleasantly surprised to find only a small scuff on my towing eye, as it protrudes it makes a very effective battering ram , the offender didn't even notice (hole through number plate) I did feel guilty but as their bumper was already cracked and secured with tape , didn't want a hefty claim for previous damage so I didn't mention it and waited for a knock on the door with my details ready , thanfully the Knock never came.

For legal reasons the above is untrue ;)

If they're blocking you *in* then the police can remove the car as it is causing an obstruction. If it's blocking you *out* then they can't do squat.

Trouble is that I live on in a house which is 1 of three offest from the road and we share a private courtyard . The other 2 houses have a garage and drive but I just have a parking space , annoying thing is that they continue to park in the centre of the access road making it difficult for me to get in or out ,why not use their garage or drive ? but must stress this was an accident and that I have left notes on their cars before explaining the situation.

personally I would buy a crap old banger for £50 with some MOT on it.

Insure it, 3rd party only (your will only need to do it for a month) and just block them in and go away on holiday.

By the time the documents have gone through DVLA and the police can trace the new owner, you will be back from your holidays. Sell you car to the scrap yard, ring and cancel the insurance and its cost you next to nothing. Certainly cheaper than solicitors letters.

They will have learnt not to mess with you.

Lets just say, people know better than to mess with me. There are ALWAYS legal methods to get even.
