Siemens S55

I just bought a Siemens S55 and was shocked that I also received at no cost a full Siemens car kit. I'm in two minds about having it installed. The only place I could see the cradle going is on the centre console on the drives side along side the handbrake. Has anyone by chance had this car kit or similar installed in their CC. Also, I assume they'd use a fron window mounted antenna.

Any comments appreciated.

Buy a "No Hole" bracket from places like Strathfield Car Radios and just screw that onto the side of the head unit, then slide the head unit back in like mine:

Also, get a stick on antenna, on the left of my mirror on the windscreen (looks like a grid):

I've got my mic on the right A pillar, but that's not very good when you've got the roof down as the wind noise becames too loud. I might move it in front of the speedo just behind the steering wheel.
