Hi,
I need 2 new tyres and I want to stick woth the Eagle F1's, however I can't find many places that sell them. Any suggestions on companies (and rough prices) would be great

Yes, it is. I think they now use the GSD-3 which has a 'lip' to protect the wheel rim.

i got 2 fitted 2 weeks ago. £93 each from a local tyre place. kwik fit quoted me £124 back in january.
try the smaller local places, they will probably be able to get them next day and should be reasonable with prices normally.

prices from local places can change daily. i got quoted back in january at £83 and they told me then they can't guarantee the price as i wasn't buying them at the time.
when i phoned up, same as last time he took my number to call me back. he phoned his wholesalers (he uses 5) and got the best price.
still wasn't complaining at £93 as far cheaper than cowboys like kwik fit.

They have Eagle F1 GSD-2 (205/45 R16 83W runout) at £97.20 and GSD-3 (205/45 R16 83W) £103.20 - what are they then? Is one of those the same as the Pug tyres?mytyres dont stock f1's
(Matt shows his lack of tyre knowledge!!!)
they never stocked thm when i asked. also the newer f1's have a different tread. alot nicer if u ask me to. but they are more expensive.

I can heartily recommend the Toyo Proxes T1-S as a suitable (and cheaper) alternative. On the third set on the Scoob (need a new pair of fronts soon) and will replace the Eagles on the Pug with T1-Ss when they're worn out.
Also had a set of Toyo 330s on wifey's previous 'motor' (Saxo).
