You're 2 hours late. April Fools have to be done before midday

As far as I know the recall work done depends on the age of the car.
Mine was one of the first registered and had the following recall work:
-wiring loom
-replacement microswitches
-replacement sensing/seating pins (?)
ie The work is mainly to rectify problems with the electronics of the roof mechanism (which I had loads of trouble with prior to the recall work).
As far as I know there is no recall work for leaks, but I have personally had no problems with leaks and will happily take the car through a jetwash.
Some people have leaks but it is almost inevitable that some will given the relative complexity of the system.... even the Merc SLK is known to have an occasional leak problem.
Hopefully you won't have a problem.

my replacement CC is 2 weeks old and leaked on the 2nd day. there hasn't been much rain since but there is little evidence of it still leaking. been through the pressure hose car wash twice with hardly a drip getting in the car and when i left work tonight after a fair bit of rain today all i could feel (it was dark) was a little water on the inside of the seal but nothing dripping down.
after the problems i had with the 1st CC i won't get my hopes up but it looks a bit more promising. also after the problems with the 1st CC, in the unlikely event of a recall due to leaks then unless it was proved that the remedy would be 100% successful then i wouldn't let the work be carried out.
i think most people will remember that it is because of the attempted repairs on the initial leak that lead to the car being rejected.
derek
