i am sorry that this post has nothing to do with the 206cc
but i just drove a BMW M3 SMG II
WOW
amazing
it's like playing playstation 2!
and that new clutchless shift system
is amazing
it shifts in a tiny amount of time
and it even blips the throttle on downshifts
does anyone know if the new system by citroen on the c3 1.6 would ever be adapted to the 206?
would love a 206cc with that
it really does bridge the gap between automatics and manuals

I agree...the M3 is the dogs...

Did anyone see it compared to the Audi S4 on Top Gear last night? And Clarkson and the other prat James whatsisface BOTH said they'd take the Audi over the M3. Nobs.

I like the M3 a lot, a hell of a lot at 0 - 60 in 4.5 seconds and external looks to die for, but for me I also like a quality interior to match performance which it lacked a little.

I considered the M3 and Boxter S, before I chose my AMG.

I think the M3 has too much of a boy racer reputation which is a shame.

True....but what kind of boy-racer can afford one? More like a boy-racer going thru a mid-life crisis???

I just don't see the point paying all that money for a car that doesn't come with indicators as standard.

I'd love to see the new M3, there seems quite a few current M3's here in Sussex.

Quickshift is essential with these types of car.

My 3.2L slk 32 AMG has "quickshift" to carry it smoothly through the gears, no stick or light clutch is available that easily copes with its 350 bhp.

Its a never ending power game for publicity and untimately sales between manufacturers, next year the slk 55 AMG appears with a 5.5 litre supercharged engine shoehorned under the bonnet, the most powerful AMG yet to carry it through the next generation of supercars.
