The cc is a couple of weeks old, whenever the electric fan at the front fires up to cool things down, there's the noise of it rubbing. When stopped, it's apparent it's rubbing against a metal pipe which does a sideways U shaped journey in front of the fan just behind the low black grille on the car.
I'm going to take it back to get them to sort it (the pipe seems pretty loose but I can't see how it would be secured) but I just wondered if anyone knew what the pipe is for?
Metal pipe rubbing on electric fan - wots the pipe do?

Discovered there are two locating clips at the opposite end of the U (you need to put your head underneath the see) and it wasn't clipped into one of them. Once clipped back it's now solid and doesn't snag the fan anymore.rubbing against a metal pipe which does a sideways U shaped journey in front of the fan just behind the low black grille on the car.
