Hi all
I,ve read every post on squeaky brakes and have found the answer ........and it works !!!
Plenty of grease on the face of the pad. Thats the bit that grabs the disc.......NOT A SOUND.
I hope to be out of traction within a coupla months and am told that I will make a full recovery. Then I can get back to work and start to pay for the damage to my neighbours wall and front rockery!
May the force be with you

1) Turn the radio up
2) Don't brake (walls provide a perfectly adequate cushioning effect, but I would avoid other cars as the owners get a bit upset)
3) But another 2 litre engine in the boot powering the back wheels but geared up in reverse.
If you were to do No.3 Matt, surely you wouldn't go anywhere? Unless you had a 1.6 in which case you'd travel in reverse everywhere? God, i'm confused now! :
OK CB, sorry I didn't explain very well - you'd obviously need a separate accelerator, clutch and gearbox. When you need to slow down, you take the front engine out of gear and put the back engine in 5th so it should slow down on the back gears...
