Ciao everybody!
I have a lovely aegean blue 206CC 2.0 SE...I do love it (apart from having some problems with rattling engine, roof mulfunctioning, squeaking breaks and a lot of patience with the dealer!)... My question & topic: the wind deflector (which I do not have at the moment)
can somebody tell me something more about the wind deflector? does it really make so much difference? I do love driving on the motorway with the roof down on a lovely sunny day, but sometimes it can get really windy..Also, is there a way to avoid spending £200 for it? Has anybody got one to sell me??
Thanx to everyone out there to help me!!
Good choice of colour and model - same as me! I also had a rattling engine (more specifically the plastic engine cover), iffy roof (still need to get it into the garage - difficult trying to explain what's up with it), squeaking brakes and lots of patience, but at the end of the day it's a damn fine car!
I don't have the wind deflector so can't help there, but I'm sure other people round here can give you their comments.
Yes, they're fantastic (I can go 20mph faster without ruining me do) and Rob is a good source here - if you click the search button just under the big blue banner, you can type in windstop and find our discussions on them!
The wind deflector is a definite must. One day during last winter, it was windier around my head stationery than it was when I was moving. They're also easy to remove and stick in the boot (even with the roof down!!!) if you do want to pose without it.
Welcome to the forum. Nice choice of colour and model
I haven't got a wind deflector, i was thinking to get one but then minor wind don't bother me so much
Thanx to everyone for your helpful answers!
I am happy to hear that this goodie helps...you never know.
I have posted in the "For sale" area asking for a bargain windstop. I know that Rob is selling it at £180, but I wouldn't mind something cheaper second hand...
By the way: are you still able to adjust fully the driver and passenger seats while the windstop is on? :
(I mean going BWD&FWD and tilt adjustment)
Please telll me yes...

you've got shorter hair than me Pauline!
Me personally? I thought the wind buffeting in the CC was minimal to be honest, i recall blasting back from Munich, 6 hours going at 120mph most of the way and still being able to hold a relatively normal conversation. Unlike a Supra with its roof off. Noisier than sitting on the Space Shuttles nose at launch-time!!!

CB, that doesnt count as the passenger was probably female. In which case she was just smiling at you and nodding while thinking of either CAKE or SHOPPING.

Who said anything about a passenger? I was talking to myself as usual Rob...I learnt LONG ago not to fight the voices but instead to embrace them! I like burning things....
