Hmm.. I would so love to hack my CC and get it to do what I want!!!!
One-finger roof up/down
Auto window closure when you lock the car
Front fogs come on with full beam
Cruise control (in theory this is possible - the ECU controls the fuel/air mixture and knows the speed of the car)
Speed limiting (at least a loud beep if you go over a certain speed)

Oh Yes! That would save me a lot of money...Speed limiting (at least a loud beep if you go over a certain speed)
Though i see my speed and still not slowing down.
What about a sort ofF1 switch on it? When they go for pitstop, they push a buttoni, the car then does not go over 80km(?) p/h. We could have a switch with 3 speeds on it? for in town, motorways and eh... for just fast ways...
If i had that on my car i prob would have had my Aston by now...

I'd just like to know what good you think the diagrams will do you. Unless you've got the Diag2000 software, they'll not be much use to you. In fact, they'd probably not be much use to you even with the software...

The interface to the car's system will use a fairly common intreface so should be easily converted to RS232 via some simple electronics (I think I've seen someone on the pug-gti.net forum with the board & s/w).
Once you've got it into RS232 you can plug it stright into a lappie and see the raw data coming out of the car. Then the fun starts - trying to decipher it!!!

I am talking about the cars wiring diagrams not the actual software. For example if fuse F13 has blown what wire is it and where does it come from?? And seeing that I am a qualified electronics engineer I'm sure I could understand what Peugeot have managed to slap together!!!!!
My main reason for asking was to try and find out what the wires were for on the black radio plug...power etc are obvious but what about the others....must be for display and stalks etc etc
