We are not worthy! And don't forget less than jake either
I'd never heard of them until I saw them at Leeds last year and they were the second best band there (after GnR!), I was sooooooooooo shocked & impressed by them, especially the way they can get the crowd going. Top marks for them
ANy band that has songs called "Beer" and "The Irish Drinking Song" is OK in my mind. And I quote:
We drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight, OI!
We drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight, OI!
And if I see a pretty girl I'll sleep with her tonight
And drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and drink and fight

Oooh then there's Dread Zepplin, a mix of Led Zepplin, Elvis and Reggae
So Black Dog mixes with Hound dog - weird!
I'm a big fan of Nirvana (even tho there are 8 year old kids wandering around with long sleeved Nirvana Ts on who've never heard of Kurt Cobain, let alone were even born before he died
)
Fave Metallica - oooh, "One"
I like any track called Creep by all the bands that have recorded one
Soundgarden
Supergrass
Faithless
Puddle of Mudd
Blink 182
Faith no more...
Blur
Inspiral Carpets
blah blah blah

Ahhh Inspiral Carpets! Now you're talking Pauline! I also admit to being a big Carter USM fan too, although i was never a student and i didn't wear one of their T-Shirts, just like the clever lyrics and stuff.
In fact while i'm on the subject, heres some of my fave bands from that era:
1. Stone Roses
2. Insiral Carpets
3. The La's
4. Carter USM
5. The Charlatans
6. Happy Mondays
7. Pop Will Eat Itself
8. E.M.F.
9. The Wonder Stuff
10. James
