Whenever my radio can't find a station that I preset sometime -- the thing wanders into Radio 2 for some bizarre reason!
Think it is because it is at the lowest point above 88fm!
I'd rather have silence then blimin radio 2!
Dear Pergeot (Clarion?) -- if the radio can't find the station it's after .. please don't bring on Terry Wogan -- we don't deserve it!
Yours,
Britters .
Stop setting my blimin' radio to Radio 2!

....and you'll also find that if you then set your favourite station into the memory, it was there all the time.
My cc is in for the usual warranty repairs at the moment, i'll let you know what they do (if anything) to put things right.
Usual being:-
1) Rasp when accelerating @ 2800 rpm
2) Losing preset radio channels if the CD is playing before the engine's switched off.
3) Squeaky brakes (don't we just luv em) - i've tried quoting the latest brake pad part no. - lets see what happens.
4) Squeaky clutch pedal.
5) Vibrating radio speaker.
6) Remote on keys doesn't work sometimes.
7) They're also putting through the recall on the keys, but I should get the car back before they get the keys from peugeot.
They've told me that "everything's done" but they've also got it to sort out paintwork on bonnet (where they scratched it on pdi). I expect to pick it up in the next few days.

Sorry I don't know how to fix it.
When its on this .. also I have a terrible time trying to use my radio stalk to change the preset radio I am on .. if I stop 'scrolling up and down' for .1 seconds .. we're back to preset 1 -- radio 2 !!!!
Anyone -- if I do put in a new radio .. can I connect the Pergeot stalk to the radio so it still performs functions or does it simply do nothing from then on?

Hi guys,
I can't afford a new head unit or speakers come to mention it, blew all my cash on the car!
I have tried pre-setting the stations but it always goes back to Radio 2! I have to press the pre-set button before I can get it back and then it has to search for it which is a pain in the backside when you're in an area with poor reception!
I'm led to believe that you can now buy the connectors to connect any stereo to the stalk on the steering wheel, never used to be able to so I flogged my Kenwood system and got next to nowt! Gutted.

Don't worry about it - you can't.
There's no Kenwood adapter yet.
