I had assurances my car would be identical to the UK spec.
Does your UK spec 206 have the following:
1) The buttons next to the handbrake are closer to the driver then the passenger .. the handbrake itself is next to the passanger seat .. correct?
2) The windscreen wipers go up from right to left, then from left to right back down again.
Is this the same as Uk spec?

1) Ok. Like UK spec.
2) Wipers point to passenger side and wipe back toward driver side when sitting in car.
(Edit'ed) oopps DAFT B. They do indeed point to the Driver side.

Mine DEFINATELY leaves the triangle on the passengers side!
At the top right of my windscreen looking outwards, is a curve! The windscreen wipers are getting closer to the TOP LEFT (looking out) then the TOP RIGHT looking out.
Is that the same?

Other possibilities:
1). Some drunk monkey forgot to change the wipers round
2). Your right hand drive conversion was post factory.
(sorry)

Thinking about it, that sounds right. The driver's side (top right) remains unwiped.

I bought mine from Calais in May last year (When the euro was a decent price) and the wipers on mine leave the triangle on the drivers side.
When did you get yours, as like somebody else has said, Peugeot may have changed the spec.
