Climate control sensors, anyone know where they are?

It was quite obvious on my last car where the sensors were, but today it's been quite cold wind-factor wise outside, and yet even putting the climate controlled heater on 28 degrees, it still came out cold In the past it's been fine leaving it on 23 degrees, it comes out warm and cold as necessary.

My water temp was fine

Just interested to know where the passenger compartment sensors were, which feed back into the system to tell it where the hot air is needed
