Since I've got my 2.0se (3k miles ago) my mpg has been no better than 24mpg. Saying that, this is mostly city milage. But surely this is still relatively high mpg??

Based on around 4000 miles since I last reset it, mine's currently reading around 31.5

Drove from Manchester to Abersoch (Wales) last weekend and averaged 33 mpg for the 306 mile round trip (Pre multiplex 2.0)

when u press reset, everything resets, not just a particular function like mpg.

the time and date stays the same :D

Just had trip up M6 and M74 and various A roads to Oban and a maybe 60 miles of pottering about round the area.

360 miles from whatever amount of fuel and it worked out at 36.3 mpg.
Was driving between 75 and 80 being gentle most of the time but had it up to 110mph couple of times and a max of 137mph!!!
Quite a few overtaking moves on the nice roads between Helensburgh and Oban so still not bad. Thats with a boot full of camping gear, plus passenger and 2 yr old in back.

Put £15 of optimax in and got just over 100miles.
Car's quite good when used gently but definately notice a difference when got foot to floor!!

Just a mere 18-19mpg!!
I've got a 1.6 for a week now and done only 400miles. Having such a consumption and in a city, average speed is 30-50mph. With such a dreadful milage I would rather jog to work or take the public transport. I'm trying to be super careful - not switching A/c, closing all windows, low revs - and still can't even reach an average of 25mpg! Maybe due short distances - 8miles?

I'd just like to say that although I don't have a sexy CC with a removable roof, I'm getting about 50mpg ;)

Something to do with that diesel stuff I reckon... :P

I just got 127 miles out of £15. Not bad I reckon, and that was being a bit heavy footed too My 2.0cc has done 23k though before I got it 2 weeks ago. So its nicely run in.

Sorry, maybe another of my blonde girlie questions, but would it really make any difference to close all the windows? :?
